NEW 2012 SCHEDULE

WEST COAST SWING is a smooth, funky, ‘elastic-looking’ dance, primarily danced in a slotted area on a floor. It can be danced to almost any music
written in 4/4 timing (our faves include Jazz, RnB, Blues, Top 40) at speeds ranging from very slow to very fast, and allows for both partners to
improvise steps while dancing together (yippee! musical interpretation).

WCS professionals, Andrew & Beverly Opyrchal are the current Alberta champions who continue to represent Alberta and Canada at international
WCS events. Their passion for the dance is infectious and they are obsessed with spreading their addiction to as many people as possible.
